Global Research into Healthy Ageing

Our Partnership with Lancaster University

Significare works in partnership with the Lancaster University Centre for Ageing Research, a leading national and international centre of excellence for ageing research. Together, we offer a free online health assessment. This is the first step in our assessment of your individual healthcare needs. This assessment is officially known as the Community Oriented Frailty Index (COM-FI25).

The results from your personal responses to the survey will help us understand your level of frailty.  It will identify some of the steps you can take to increase your physical and mental wellbeing and resilience in the future.

Healthy Ageing Research

As well as supporting your own health, you will also be contributing to research that will help others.

Data will be collected by Significare, anonymised, then shared with the Centre for Ageing Research for research purposes.  All personally identifying information will be kept separate from health data and stored in encrypted password protected storage.

This data will support research into the early identification and management of the impacts of ageing to support improving resilience.

The Lancaster University Centre for Ageing Research is a leading regional, national, and international centre that conducts high quality interdisciplinary research and teaching around ageing, older people, and age-related diseases.
